1. The Problem & Business Challenge

Active traders require millisecond-level responsiveness. Existing retail web terminals suffered from frequent memory bloat, frozen charts during volatile economic announcements, and slow multi-second order routing across fragmented broker APIs.

The client needed a custom, highly reliable desktop-grade web terminal with unified authentication, instant order modification, and customizable multi-monitor layouts without paying millions to legacy fintech vendors.

2. The Architectural Solution by Qodes

Lokesh Tripathi and the Qodes engineering team designed an event-driven architecture centered on zero-copy data pipelines:

  • Decoupled WebSocket Engine: Isolated background web workers process raw market depth feeds (DOM) and tick arrays without blocking main-thread React rendering.
  • Virtualized Candlestick Engine: Lightweight canvas-based charting capable of rendering 100,000+ historical bars at 60 FPS without frame drops.
  • Idempotent Order Router: Microservices layer with automatic retry exponential backoff and cryptographic nonce signatures ensuring zero duplicate order fills.

3. The Result

The platform launched successfully in 28 days. In stress testing with 5,000 simulated concurrent traders, average order latency remained below 45ms with zero data corruption. The client closed their initial pre-seed funding round backed by live product demonstrations.
